The Old Town of Prague is a crossroads of history and culture, admired by millions of tourists from all over the world. Genius Loci (The Spirit of the place) is emphasised by the Art Gallery in Prague 1 located on Jakubská street. Current artists have an opportunity to present pieces of work in fewexhibition rooms.
The real expert - representative of the new Impressionism, the master of black canvases - Alexander Onishenko (1957) is the author of a perceptive choice of personalities and their canvases. After many successful exhibitions in London, Munich, Basle and Andorra he had worked in many countries of West Europe and then he found his life place in Bohemia. Here he finds unfailing source of his inspiration and desire for sharing untraditional view of the world. This is a reason why he opened his own art gallery in Prague, in 1994. By his creation and own life attitude Alexandr Onishenko tries to bring feelings of beauty into visitors' souls and to bring harmony to stressing ways of our daily round.
